The Russian army has delivered yet another strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, employing various types of missiles and drones.

According to RBC-Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned this in his Telegram.

Zelensky stated that the targets of the Russian forces were the gas infrastructure and energy facilities that sustain the lives of people in Ukraine.

"More than 40 missiles were involved in this strike, including ballistic ones. At least 30 were intercepted. Additionally, over 70 Russian strike drones were deployed overnight. Thanks to our air defense forces, all engaged units, we are maintaining the operation of our energy system," the president wrote.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine continually requires an enhancement of its existing air shield capabilities. Partners at the NATO summit in Washington and in the "Ramstein" format made promises that have yet to be fully realized.

"We discussed the licensing for the production of air defense systems and anti-missile technology, which could become one of the effective security guarantees for Ukraine, and this is also realistic and needs to be fulfilled," he stressed.
