Russia has launched "Shaheds" towards Ukraine: areas at risk of strikes.

The Russian Federation launched drones over Ukrainian territory on the evening of Tuesday, February 25. Air raid alerts have been declared in several regions.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Air Forces and the Air Raid Alerts Map.

According to the Air Forces, the Russian army launched several groups of drones from the northern direction. Initially, alerts were announced in Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

Enemy drones were also spotted in the southern regions of the country.

Information on the movement of enemy strike UAVs:

• UAVs in northern Kherson region, heading northwest;
• UAVs in Sumy region, heading west/southwest.

Residents of the regions where alerts have been declared are reminded to remain calm and seek shelter in case of threat. Filming the operation of air defense is prohibited in Ukraine.

At 22:18, an air raid alert was declared in the city of Kyiv due to the approach of strike drones.

As of 22:59, Russian strike drones were moving:

• in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions, heading northwest;
• in Kharkiv region, heading west;
• in Chernihiv region, heading toward Kyiv region;
• in Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, heading west.

At 22:40, the first explosions were heard in the capital due to air defense efforts.

According to monitoring channels, there are currently over 75 drones in the airspace of Ukraine. Of these, about 25 "Shaheds" are moving toward Kyiv region.

According to monitoring channels, as of 23:48, more than 55 strike drones remain in the Ukrainian sky.

As of 0:05, Russian "Shaheds" were moving:

• in northern Kyiv region, heading southwest;
• in Chernihiv region, heading west;
• in Poltava region, heading west;
• in Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kirovohrad regions, heading northwest.

As of 1:26, Russian "Shaheds" were moving:

• in Kirovohrad region heading north;
• from Chernihiv towards Kyiv region;
• in Kirovohrad region heading north;
• in Poltava region heading north.

At 2:25, the Air Forces announced the cancellation of the air raid alert in the city of Kyiv.

At 4:31, the military declared the end of the threat across all regions.

The Russian army launches strike drones of the "Shahed" type over Ukrainian territory every night. In recent days, their numbers during nighttime attacks have exceeded several hundred.

For instance, on the night of February 24, the invaders launched 185 drones from five different directions.

Last night, the air defense (AD) operated in Kyiv region. Prior to this, air raid alerts were declared in several regions. Due to the attack in Zhytomyr region, there were damages and casualties.

On the night of February 25, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with more than 210 UAVs.
