According to the Sumy OGA, the enemy carried out a missile strike on the infrastructure of the Shostka community in the morning.

As of 08:30, there was no information about casualties. However, the consequences of the Russian attack are being clarified.

It is worth noting that shortly before the explosions in Shostka, the Air Forces had warned about a fast-moving target in the direction of the city.

"Fast-moving target in the direction of Shostka, Sumy region," - the airmen wrote.

According to the mayor of Shostka, Nikolai Noga, the enemy struck the territory of the Shostka community and continues shelling.

As a result of the strike, several infrastructure facilities have been damaged. Twelve multi-story residential buildings, two educational institutions, and other social facilities were affected. Emergency rescue units are working at the scene.

"I urge everyone to remain calm and not to ignore air raid signals! It is necessary to stay in shelters! Schools, kindergartens, homes! Workers of all institutions are operating remotely," - he wrote on Facebook.
