The Russian Federation was preparing sabotage in the airspace of Poland, as well as against airlines worldwide.
According to RBK-Ukraine, this was stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He noted that acts of sabotage had been recorded, which represent a version of the war that Russia has declared against the entire civilized world, not just Ukraine. In his view, such actions by the Russian Federation also require joint responses.
"Poland plays a key role against the sabotage and diversions taking place not only on Polish territory. Some acts of sabotage by Russia or preparations for diversion have occurred in other countries. I can only confirm this information. Russia planned air terror not only against Poland but also against airlines globally," Tusk stated.
It is worth noting that in several EU countries, there have been multiple reports of unknown drones flying over military sites recently. In particular, in November of last year, small unmanned aerial vehicles flew over US military bases in Britain.
Additionally, the publication BILD reported that a drone was monitoring the British aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth in the port of Hamburg. The ship arrived at the German port this week.
At the end of last year, it became known that in December, unknown drones were spotted flying over the US military base "Ramstein" (Germany). Drones were also observed over the facilities of the defense contractor Rheinmetall.
