On the evening of Friday, December 3, the Russian army resumed shelling the territory of Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Chernihiv.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Air Forces and the Telegram channel of the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi.
According to the Air Forces, the enemy used ballistic weapons this time.
"Ballistics in Chernihiv. Chernihiv - stay in shelters until further notice," the Air Forces stated.
At the same time, Bryzhynskyi warned that sounds of explosions were heard in the vicinity of Chernihiv.
"A group missile strike has been carried out in the outskirts of the city. Stay in shelters," he reported.

According to Bryzhynskyi, two private houses sustained damage during the shelling.
Additionally, one civilian was injured.
Russian terrorists continuously shell Ukrainian territories, posing a significant threat to the civilian population. They use various types of weaponry for attacks: missile systems, artillery, drones, and guided bombs.
In particular, on the evening of December 18, the Russians shelled the border area of Chernihiv region. As a result of the strikes, a police major was killed.
