At night, Russia launched over 120 drones and 19 missiles. Here's how the air defense systems responded to the threat.

On the night of February 11, the Russian army launched 124 strike drones and up to 19 cruise missiles across Ukraine. Aviation forces were involved in repelling the enemy's air assault.

During the night of February 11, 2025, Russian occupiers carried out a combined strike with missiles of various types, including air, ground, and naval platforms, targeting gas extraction facilities in the Poltava region. The Russians launched up to 19 cruise, ballistic, and guided aviation missiles. Information regarding the types and outcomes of the combat operations is currently being clarified.

The enemy also attacked with 124 strike drones of the Shahed type and other types of imitation drones in the following directions:

  • Millerovo;
  • Orel;
  • Bryansk;
  • Kursk;
  • Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

"Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack," the Air Forces reported.

As of 10:00 AM, the downing of 57 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of UAVs in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions has been confirmed.

Additionally, 64 enemy imitation drones were locally lost without negative consequences. The regions of Poltava, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy suffered due to the enemy attack.

Night Strike on Ukrainian Territory

Last night, the Russian Federation launched a combined strike on Ukrainian territory. Initially, the Russians used drones and "Kalibr" cruise missiles. As dawn approached, information emerged about the threat of shelling from Russian strategic aviation, and it was recorded that Russian missiles were moving towards the Poltava region.

Preliminarily, as a result of the missile strike, 9 populated areas in the Myrhorod district were left without gas supply.

Furthermore, due to shelling in Ukraine, emergency power outages were implemented. According to Ukraine's Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, Russia is once again attempting to attack Ukraine's energy system.
