Law enforcement officials have warned parents about the dangers of recruitment of Ukrainian teenagers by Russian special services. The enemy may engage minors for sabotage activities.

This material was prepared using sources from the press service of the Sumy region police.
According to the police, Russian special services have started actively involving teenagers in unlawful activities in Ukraine. This happens due to manipulation, psychological pressure, or monetary rewards.
Minors receive proposals by joining Telegram channels or chat groups for "easy earnings." They are asked to perform specific tasks that seem simple at first glance – such as painting graffiti or posting provocative leaflets, or those that discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine in crowded places.
There are also more complex tasks – like setting fire to transformer equipment or military vehicles. All these tasks are illegal, and severe penalties will follow.
We remind parents:
The police reminded that the mentioned crimes can be classified under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provide for severe penalties – up to life imprisonment.
In particular, according to part 3 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, citizens of Ukraine who, in fulfillment of a criminal task of a foreign state, did not carry out any actions, and voluntarily reported to the authorities of Ukraine about their connection with them or the task received, are exempt from criminal liability.
Earlier, RBK-Ukraine reported that SBU officers detained a man and a woman, who were preparing a terrorist act in Kyiv on behalf of Russia.
