Kramatorsk is a large industrial and administrative city in the Donetsk region that serves as the regional center in the territory controlled by Ukraine. The city is known for its machine engineering sector, particularly enterprises that produce goods for metallurgy and energy.
Since the onset of Russian aggression in 2014, Kramatorsk has become an important military and logistics center, facing periodic shelling from the occupiers. Despite the challenging conditions, the city continues to operate, sustaining the civilian population and supporting the region's defense capabilities.
Recall that Russian troops struck the city on January 15, with a missile hitting an apartment in a high-rise building in one of the city's residential areas. As a result, nine people were injured.
Recently, the Russian army carried out airstrikes on residential areas in Konstantinovka and Kramatorsk.
Also, on the morning of Thursday, February 13, the Russian army shelled the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, targeting the private sector and industrial zone.
Let us remind you that the Donetsk region continues to evacuate residents due to increased shelling and hostilities. Evacuation trains regularly transport people to safer regions of Ukraine, where displaced persons receive necessary assistance.
