Russian military aircraft dropped two more bombs near residential buildings in the Belgorod region. More than 150 residents were evacuated from the area.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the Telegram channel ASTRA.
According to the publication, on December 26, there was an "emergency drop" of a FAB-500 bomb near a residential house on Pobedy Street in the village of Kushchevo, Yakovlevsky urban district of the Belgorod region.
More than 150 villagers were evacuated, and there were no reported injuries. The bomb is set to be removed and destroyed. Another bomb fell near a residential house in the village of Pushkarnoye, where residents also remained unharmed.
Overall, ASTRA reports at least 165 instances of FAB bomb drops in Russia and in the occupied territories of Ukraine throughout 2024.
In particular, on November 19, ASTRA reported that a Russian aircraft dropped a 250-kilogram bomb on a school in the Belgorod region.
Additionally, on December 1, in a single day, the occupying aviation lost three FAB-250 bombs in the Belgorod region. In one of the incidents, people had to be evacuated due to the emergency.
