On the morning of December 17, the Russian Federation launched "Shahed" drones over the territory of Ukraine. Air raid alerts are being reported in several regions.

According to the Air Forces, enemy drones were first spotted at the border of the Sumy region, moving eastward. Subsequently, the drones were detected in the Chernovtsy and Poltava regions.

It is also worth noting that an alert was declared in Kyiv due to the "Shaheds". However, the threat signal was later canceled in the capital.
In addition, the Air Forces warned of the threat of ballistic weapon use in the southern and eastern regions.
Residents of areas where alerts have been declared are reminded to remain calm and to seek shelter in case of threat. It is also important to remember that filming the operation of air defense systems is prohibited in Ukraine.
