On the evening of Tuesday, January 21, the Russian army struck the private sector of the city of Sumy with a "Shahed" drone. Several houses were damaged in the attack.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar.
"Dear residents of Sumy, we again experienced a 'Shahed' strike in the private sector," Kobzar announced.
According to him, as a result of the strike, several houses were damaged, windows were shattered, and a wall was breached.
All necessary services are on-site, and rescuers are working to extinguish the fire.

The enemy is using new means of attack. In particular, on January 12, the Russians launched airstrikes on a children's rehabilitation center in Sumy, resulting in a fire on the premises.
Additionally, yesterday Russian occupiers struck a rocket at the Shostka community in the Sumy region. There were damages as a result of the attack.
