Rocket strike on Kyiv: The State Emergency Service released footage showcasing the aftermath of the attack.

As a result of a nighttime rocket attack on Kyiv, one person has died and four others have been injured. Rescuers were active in three areas of the capital.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service (SES).

According to the SES, firefighters extinguished blazes that erupted due to the nighttime shelling.

Approximately 120 emergency responders and 30 units of equipment were engaged in:

• Obolon;
• Svatoshyn;
• Holosiivskyi districts.

Due to the shelling, fires and destruction occurred in:

• office buildings;
• warehouse facilities;
• on the roof of a high-rise building.

It is also known that there is:

• one deceased;
• four injured, including a child.

Shelling of Ukraine

On the night of February 12, terrorists attacked Ukraine:

• with Iskander-M ballistic missiles targeting Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih. A total of six launches were carried out from the Bryansk region and one from Crimea;
• with 123 Shahed-type drones.

As of 8:30, the downing of six missiles and 71 drones has been confirmed. An additional 40 drones were locally lost without negative consequences.

Commenting on the nighttime shelling, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is not preparing for peace and urged the West to intensify pressure against the enemy.
