Due to alarms, metro operations were restricted in Kyiv, serving as a shelter for residents.

In Kyiv on the evening of Monday, January 13, changes were implemented in the operation of the metro. This is due to a prolonged air raid alert.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Kyiv City State Administration.

The KCSA noted that train services on the "red" line are operating from the "Akademgorodok" station to the "Universitet" station.

Meanwhile, the metro stations "Arsenalna", "Khreshchatyk", and "Teatralna" are operating only as shelters.

Train services on the "green" line are running from the "Syrets" station to the "Zverynetska" station and from the "Osokorky" station to the "Krasnyi Khutor" station.

The "Vydubychi" and "Slavutych" stations are also functioning as shelters.

The KCSA announced that the metro is resuming normal operations at stations and gradually restoring the regular train schedule.

Air Raid Alert in Kyiv

Recall that a few hours ago, an air raid alert was announced in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine. This time due to the threat of a ballistic strike. Air forces warned of a fast-moving target that was passing through the Sumy region.

Additionally, alerts have been declared in several regions due to the threat of Russian strike drones.

Earlier, military expert Oleksiy Hetman commented to RBK-Ukraine that Russia needs about a month between attacks to produce the necessary number of missiles that they launch during a mass strike.
