Air defense systems are active in Crimea and Russian regions as residents report missile and drone strikes.

On the evening of Monday, January 13, residents of Russia reported extensive attacks across several regions. Explosions were heard in Bryansk and Belgorod, while air defense systems were activated in the occupied Crimea.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram of the occupying governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Telegram channel of the Belgorod city administration, and "Ria.Новости".

Situation in Crimea

At around 8 PM Kyiv time, an air raid alert was declared in Crimea. It lasted for nearly an hour, but Razvozhaev did not disclose any details.

Meanwhile, local Telegram channels initially reported a threat of a missile strike. Unidentified missiles were allegedly spotted in Feodosia, Sudak, Sevastopol, and Kerch. Additionally, Russians claimed there was an attack on the Crimean Bridge, causing temporary disruption of traffic.

Subsequently, complaints began to emerge in Crimea regarding an attack by unidentified drones.

Explosions in Bryansk Region

This evening, a series of powerful explosions were also reported in the Bryansk region. Locals claimed that at least 10 explosions were heard in the sky over Bryansk.

According to the local governor, air defense forces supposedly detected and destroyed a drone resembling an aircraft over the region. Other reports from Russians suggested that the area was under attack from ATACMS, with locals hearing more than 30 explosions.

He stated that there were no casualties or destruction. Operational and emergency services are currently working at the scene.

Videos of the explosions in Bryansk were also published by the head of the NSDC's Central Operations Department, Andrei Kovalenko.

"Bryansk is buzzing," - he wrote.

Explosions in Belgorod Region

Traditionally, Russians reported successful air defense operations in the Belgorod region. Initially, missiles were allegedly shot down, followed by an attack on the area by unidentified drones.

Attacks on Russian Oil Refineries

Recently, there were also reports of an attack in the Volgograd region in Russia, where another enemy oil refinery is located.

Additionally, on the night of January 8, explosions were heard in Russian Engels, with local authorities and residents reporting drone attacks and air defense operations.
