Kramatorsk

Kramatorsk is one of the largest industrial and administrative cities in the Donetsk region, serving as the administrative center in the territory controlled by Ukraine. It is known for its machine engineering industry, particularly enterprises specializing in the production of equipment for metallurgy and energy.

Since 2014, following the onset of Russian aggression, Kramatorsk has become a key military and logistics hub, frequently subjected to shelling by the occupiers. Despite security challenges, the city continues to function, sustaining the lives of its residents and playing a crucial role in the region's defense.

Shelling of Kramatorsk

Russian forces continue to shell Kramatorsk and other cities in the Donetsk region. On January 15, during an attack with a guided aerial bomb (GAB), a shell hit an apartment in a multi-story building, injuring nine people.

The occupiers have also carried out airstrikes on residential areas in Konstantinovka and Kramatorsk, and on February 13, they shelled the private sector and industrial zone of Kramatorsk.

Due to the intensification of attacks, evacuations of the civilian population in the region continue to safer areas, where displaced persons receive necessary assistance.
