On Friday, January 3, the Russian army launched a triple missile strike on Chernihiv. As a result, a dozen homes were damaged, and there are wounded individuals and one fatality.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmitry Brizhinsky.
According to him, 5 people were injured in the missile attack and are currently hospitalized. Their condition is assessed as satisfactory. It is also known that there was one fatality.
As a result of the Russian strike, more than 10 private houses were destroyed or damaged.
All necessary services are working at the scene. However, to prevent accidents due to gas leaks and electrical injuries, the supply of electricity and gas in the areas of destruction has been halted.

The chairman of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, specified that a 72-year-old man was killed during the strike. Additionally, two private residential houses were completely destroyed.
According to preliminary data, the enemy launched 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
"In the morning, when there is daylight, pyrotechnicians will definitely be working there because several rockets had cluster munitions, and therefore, dangerous unexploded elements may still remain," Chaus explained.
