In an attack on Kharkiv last night, November 9, Russian invaders used a hybrid missile and bomb "Grom-E1." The impact occurred in an open area, and after the explosion, debris from the munitions damaged residential buildings.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the spokesperson for the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office Dmitry Chubenko.

According to the regional prosecutor's representative, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the Slobidsky district of Kharkiv at 22:17 on Saturday.

"The strike hit an open area. As a result of the explosion and the scattering of debris, the facades of several multi-story residential buildings were damaged, and dozens of windows were shattered," he informed.

As a result of the Russian shelling, a woman sought medical attention due to acute stress reaction.

The regional prosecutor's office reported that preliminary evidence suggests that the Russians "used the aviation munition 'Grom-E1' for the strike on Kharkiv."

"It is more powerful than the FAB (general-purpose aerial bomb) with UMPK (planning and correction module) and has a larger explosive charge. This is essentially another war crime," Chubenko noted.

Additionally, he mentioned that a criminal case has been opened regarding the enemy shelling due to violations of the laws and customs of war.

Furthermore, the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office released a video showing the aftermath of the Russian airstrike on Kharkiv on the evening of November 9.

Russian Shelling of Kharkiv with "Grom-E1" Missiles and Bombs

It was previously reported that on the evening prior, explosions were heard in Kharkiv during an air raid alert due to the threat of enemy airstrikes.

Local authorities reported that a CAB hit in the Slobidsky district of the city. In particular, there was a "hit" near a multi-story building. Later, it became known that one person was injured with acute stress reaction.

Also, it is worth noting that on the night of November 9, an explosion occurred in Kharkiv due to an enemy airstrike - there was a "hit" on the intersection of two city districts affecting the road surface, damaging civilian infrastructure.

It was also revealed that the enemy used the aviation munition "Grom-E1" to shell Kharkiv, and as a result of the strike, buildings of a hotel, a hypermarket, and other civilian objects were damaged.

Prior to this, on the night of October 20, the Russian army again struck Kharkiv with a hybrid missile-bomb. At that time, houses and vehicles were damaged as a result of the shelling.

Let us remind you that for the first time Russian terrorists attacked Kharkiv with the hybrid missile "Grom-E1" in early September. For more details on the dangers posed by the Russian missile-bomb "Grom-E1," read in a separate article by RBK-Ukraine.
