On the night of Monday, January 27, the Russian army struck the city of Dnipro. Several high-rise buildings were damaged there.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov on Telegram.
"We can now summarize the results of the night attack. The utility workers were already on site in the morning. The yards have been cleared," Filatov wrote.
According to him, nine high-rise buildings were damaged during the night attack. Two of them had their roofs severely damaged. In total, over 130 windows were shattered.
Currently, the buildings have centralized heating, electricity, and water. However, the building that was at the epicenter of the explosion lacks gas supply. The ventilation ducts have been destroyed.
"We will attempt to restore gas supply at least to one entrance. Other repairs will take more time. Specialists will also assess the condition of the load-bearing structures of the building. After that, it will be clear how to restore the roof," the mayor stated.
It should be noted that on the night of Monday, January 27, the Russian Federation launched another attack on Ukrainian territories using strike drones from various directions. Due to the drone attack, an air alert was declared in Kyiv, and reports of air defense activity in the capital were made.
Explosions were also heard in the Ivano-Frankivsk region - the Russians attacked the region several times using strike drones. The targets were critical infrastructure facilities.
Additionally, during the night attack by Russia across Ukrainian territory, the city of Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region were affected.
