The Netherlands, along with Finland and Sweden, intercepted Russian military aircraft over the Baltic Sea.
As reported by RBK-Ukraine, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans mentioned this on Twitter.
"Our F-35s are on alert daily against the Russian threat. Yesterday (December 17 - ed.) we, together with Finland and Sweden, escorted Russian planes carrying supersonic missiles over the Baltic Sea. Protecting our security requires constant readiness," Brekelmans wrote.
It is worth noting that he did not specify which particular Russian aircraft were intercepted.
