By the evening of November 8, several men were apprehended in Kyiv. They engaged in illegal shooting in one of the capital's districts.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Patrol Police of Kyiv.
According to the patrol officers, they received a report about gunfire in one of the areas of Kyiv. The informant provided a detailed description of the offenders, which led to a search.
Upon inspecting the nearby areas, the inspectors found men with weapons.
"The individuals were behaving aggressively, prompting the patrol to call for backup and detain the offenders. They were in possession of a starter pistol," the police reported.
0 1 2Moreover, according to law enforcement, at the time of the men's detention, an acquaintance of one of them attempted to enter the police vehicle but was warned about the consequences of obstructing police actions.
The men were taken to the district police department. Subsequently, administrative protocols were drawn up against the offenders under Article 173 (Petty Hooliganism) and Part 1 of Article 178 (Appearance in Public in an Intoxicated State) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (KUAO).
Previously, we reported that on September 22, a man opened fire from an automatic weapon in a store near Kyiv. As a result, two people were injured.
The shooter turned out to be a 36-year-old local resident with a prior conviction, who was subsequently detained.
On September 18, it became known that in Kyiv, an assailant shot a man at a gas station and fled. He was apprehended by law enforcement.
