The events that unfolded over the past few days in the territory of the Russian Federation hold historical significance.
This was stated by military expert and former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Igor Romanenko, in a comment to the YouTube channel RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, this marks the first mass strike by Ukraine on military targets deep within Russia in three years, utilizing various means of destruction.
"These include drones of various types, as well as ATACMS missiles. Well, possibly some other types too... But the main point is that the principle of the law of philosophy has been realized - quantity will eventually transform into quality. I would like to emphasize that this is a historic moment," he explained.
In his view, the targets struck overnight on Russian territory indicate that such a large-scale approach has successfully hit the key strategic objectives that were identified earlier.
"These include facilities related to fuel and lubricants, which are transferred to the structures of the Russian Armed Forces. Secondly, there are factories and all that is associated with the production of weapons, equipment, and munitions for the enemy. These are strategic level targets. And thirdly, there are airfields, launch sites, and means of delivering strikes against us," he emphasized.
Recall that last night, Russian media reported a large-scale attack in several regions of Russia. Russians complained about both missile strikes and drones.
We also reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck again at the infrastructure of the Russian military airfield "Engels-2." This airfield is home to Tu-95MS and Tu-160 aircraft from the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of the Russian Federation.
Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces delivered a precise strike on the Bryansk chemical plant in the city of Seltso. This plant is a strategic facility of Russia's military-industrial complex.
