The targets of Russian aggressors near the front line often include rescuers, volunteers, and concerned individuals who assist in overcoming the aftermath of shelling. The enemy may use FPV drones or drop explosives on them.
This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
That is why it is essential to remember the rules for protecting yourself from such dangers. These guidelines were developed by experts from the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.
First and foremost, it is crucial to treat all airborne objects as potential threats. If you hear the sound of a drone or see one in the sky, immediately run for cover.
If a drone hovers above you, it is likely that the enemy has already spotted you. In this case, you should find a safe place to hide.
If you notice a drone while in a vehicle, exit the transport immediately, move away from the road, and seek shelter.
It is important to note that if you see where the drone has fallen, report this to the rescuers or police by calling 101 or 102.
