СБУ раскрыла схему, в рамках которой химзавод в Черкассах продал россиянам удобрения на сумму 1,8 млн долларов.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has exposed the management of a chemical plant in Cherkasy that was operating for Russia. Since the onset of the war, the enterprise has sold fertilizers worth 1.8 million dollars to Russian clients.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, from 2022 to 2024, representatives of the Ukrainian chemical plant illegally shipped products worth 1.8 million dollars to Russia. This involved wholesale supplies of fertilizers and minerals for the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation.

The suspects utilized an affiliated company in the Middle East. Initially, the products from the Cherkasy chemical plant were sent to a "middleman," and from there to Russia. Among the key Russian clients were some of the largest companies in the Russian agro-industrial complex, such as "Shchelkovo Agrokhim" and "Alterrit."

The investigation established that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the suspects have sent over 216 tons of chemical products to Russia.

The SBU conducted searches at the workplaces and residences of the suspects, uncovering documentation, mobile phones, and computer equipment containing evidence of the transactions.

The head of the Cherkasy company has been charged under part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding a state-aggressor). The participants in the scheme face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Recall that earlier, SBU uncovered employees of a Ukrainian holding, who were working for Russia. The suspects were involved in the construction of a gas liquefaction plant in the Rostov region.

Additionally, Ukrainian authorities exposed personnel from a company that sold microchips to the occupiers for the production of missiles and drones.
