Kherson is once again under fire from Russia, urging locals to seek shelter for their safety.

On the evening of Friday, December 20, the Russian Federation resumed shelling the city of Kherson. Residents are urged to stay in shelters.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko.

"Kherson is under fire! Dear residents, please stay in shelters and avoid approaching windows," Mrochko wrote.

He noted that shelters equipped with doors that have automatic locks will be opened. He also appealed to those responsible for basic shelters to ensure free access for the city's residents.

Situation in Kherson

Recall that on the night of December 20, Russian occupiers heavily shelled the Kherson region. Local authorities reported numerous hits on residential high-rises.

As a result of such attacks, up to 60,000 subscribers were left without electricity.

As President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, Ukrainian soldiers repelled attacks by Russians in the Kherson region. Meanwhile, the elimination of North Korean soldiers continues in the Kursk region.
