The chief psychiatrist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Druzy, who is suspected of illegal enrichment, aimed to purchase an elite villa in Turkey. The price of the villa is 650 thousand euros.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing sources within law enforcement agencies.
According to RBK-Ukraine's sources, Druzy traveled to Turkey twice in 2024. During these trips, he attempted to buy a three-story villa with a pool for 650 thousand euros. Throughout his visits, Druzy was actively communicating with a realtor, who was offering various options for elite housing.
Druzy's stepdaughter resides in Turkey, for whom he purchased a new hybrid "Toyota." The official recorded the purchase on his phone.
Sources indicate that Druzy constructed a pen for himself at a cost of 300 thousand hryvnias.
It has been revealed that the suspect's wife, Olga Sedova, is a Russian national but has already obtained Ukrainian citizenship. Her son, Druzy's stepson, lives in Kyiv but still holds a Russian passport.
Recall that on January 21, the Security Service of Ukraine announced the detention of the chief psychiatrist of the Armed Forces, who also serves as the deputy head of the Central Military Medical Commission. RBK-Ukraine's sources confirmed that the individual in question is Oleg Druzy.
He is suspected of illegal enrichment and providing false information in his declarations.
According to the investigation, during the full-scale war, the official enriched himself by more than one million dollars. He acquired private property and land near Kyiv, two apartments in Kyiv, one in Odesa, as well as four luxury cars.
On January 22, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv imposed a preventive measure on the suspect, placing him in custody with the possibility of bail set at 49 million hryvnias.
