The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure for the Chief Psychiatrist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Druzy. He is suspected of illegal enrichment exceeding one million dollars.

The court approved the prosecutors' request for his detention for 60 days with a bail set at 49 million hryvnias. Prosecutors requested the same preventive measure for Druzy.
Druzy was present at the hearing. His lawyer stated that he was in extremely serious condition in an ambulance, "under IV drips."
Furthermore, as noted by the publication, Druzy will remain in custody at a medical facility.
In turn, his lawyers claimed that Druzy's detention was unlawful, as he was allegedly discharged from the intensive care unit just yesterday. They requested a preventive measure that does not involve detention.
As reported, The Security Service of Ukraine detained the Chief Psychiatrist of the Armed Forces, Oleg Druzy, who is the Deputy Head of the Central Military Medical Commission. He was responsible for assessing fitness for service.
