The court may send Ivan Rudoy, the head of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL), to pre-trial detention. The prosecution will request this measure.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing a statement from the spokesperson of the State Bureau of Investigations, Tatyana Sapyan, during a telethon.
According to Sapyan, the issue of notifying Rudoy of suspicion regarding aiding an aggressor state and illegal possession of narcotic substances in large quantities is currently being resolved. The next step will be to select a preventive measure.
"The prosecution will request detention," she added.
Recall that today, December 18, it became known that Ukrainian law enforcement had detained Ivan Rudoy, the head of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL).
According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, he may have supported the activities of the online casino Pin-Up in Ukraine. Its owners are Russian nationals.
The manager of this online casino had been financing veterans of the so-called "Special Military Operation" since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
Additionally, during searches, cocaine in large quantities was found with the head of KRAIL.
