Investigators from the State Bureau of Investigations have exposed an employee of the Mykolaiv RTC and SP. He was involved in a scheme to profit from conscripted individuals eligible for mobilization.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the State Bureau of Investigations.
According to the SBI, since the beginning of last year, two employees of the Mykolaiv RTC and SP had been offering "assistance" to those wishing to evade mobilization.
They promised to influence doctors to forge medical documents with false diagnoses during the medical commission. In return, they demanded a reward of 4-5 thousand dollars.
For an additional fee averaging 3000 dollars, the conscripts could be removed from military registration or receive the status of "fit for service in the RTC and SP and rear military units."
The SBI reported that on January 9, 2025, one of the RTC employees was detained by Bureau workers while receiving 4500 dollars from a "client."
Previously, RBK-Ukraine reported that the SBI has exposed 120 officials over the year, suspected of creating schemes for the illegal transportation of conscripts abroad. Most often, the subjects of investigations were employees of the RTC, medical commissions, doctors, and law enforcement officers.
