Russian intelligence agencies are planning to carry out several terrorist attacks in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and within Russia itself, targeting the local population. The FSB of the aggressor state aims to blame representatives of partisan movements for these actions afterward.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the resistance movement against the occupation, "ATEŞ".

It is noted that such plans were disclosed to Ukrainian partisans by informants within the Russian intelligence services.

"This is a standard FSB playbook that they have used before to intensify repression and total control," the movement highlights.

Additionally, the partisans pointed out that, in preparation for these provocations, the Russian authorities have preemptively designated "ATEŞ" as a terrorist organization.

"We remind you that our movement operates solely against the Russian military occupiers and condemns any crimes against peaceful citizens. The occupiers will not be able to conceal their real crimes behind false staging," the movement states.

Previous Warnings Followed the Terrorist Attack Near Moscow

Recall that in April of last year, partisans also reported that representatives of the Russian intelligence services were attempting to organize a terrorist act. The aim of that provocation was also to shift the blame onto Ukrainian partisans and members of the underground.

It should be noted that such a warning from the underground was issued shortly after the incident in Krasnogorsk, Russia, where several armed men opened fire in the "Krokus City Hall" shopping center. That same evening (March 22, 2024), the Kremlin began hinting that the alleged terrorist act might be linked to the "Ukrainian side," and then the Russian authorities openly lied about some "Ukrainian traces," completely ignoring numerous facts about the jihadists from "ISIS."

The terrorist act was claimed by the group "Islamic State." In the U.S. and several other Western countries, information about ISIS's involvement in the attack in the Moscow region was confirmed, and they rejected any Ukrainian involvement in the events. At that time, U.S. intelligence also expressed the opinion that Russia was trying to justify its war against Ukraine through the terrorist act. Furthermore, it became known that Iran had also warned the Kremlin about the danger of an attack by Islamists.

In the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the attack near Moscow was described as a planned and deliberate provocation by Russian intelligence services under the direction of dictator Vladimir Putin.
