Борисову, бывшему главе Одесского ТЦК, вновь назначили меру пресечения.

The court has chosen a measure of restraint for the former head of the Odessa regional military recruitment center. He has been sent back to pre-trial detention with the option to post bail.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the State Bureau of Investigation on Telegram.

According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, this concerns the former military commissioner of the Odessa region, Yevgeny Borisov.

According to the court's decision, this time the bail amount is significantly higher than before, totaling 402 million hryvnias.

The Borisov Case

It is worth noting that last year, journalists uncovered expensive real estate and cars owned by then-head of the Odessa regional military recruitment center and social security, Yevgeny Borisov. This caused a scandal.

Later, it was revealed that Borisov's sources of income were likely illegal—he might have been "selling" white tickets to men.

In light of this, Borisov was decided to be dismissed from his position as head of the Odessa regional military recruitment center.

The court imposed a measure of restraint on Borisov in the form of arrest with the possibility of posting bail set at 150 million hryvnias. After some time, the bail was reduced to 12 million hryvnias.

On May 28 of this year, Borisov was released from pre-trial detention on bail, but law enforcement immediately detained him due to concerns that the suspect might flee abroad.

Yesterday, December 25, a similar situation occurred. Bail was once again posted for Borisov, this time amounting to 39.364 million hryvnias, but after his release from pre-trial detention, he was detained again.

Law enforcement explained the detention by stating that Borisov might have attempted to leave the country.
