Для экс-начальника Одесского ТЦК Борисова планируют ходатайствовать об аресте без возможности внесения залога.

The former head of the Odessa Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, Yevgeny Borisov, is set to have a preventive measure chosen for him. Law enforcement officials will be requesting his arrest without the possibility of bail.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the communications advisor of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI), Tatyana Sapyian, during a telethon.

"The prosecution will ask the court to impose a preventive measure of detention without the option of bail," she stated.

Sapyian reminded that the former Odessa military commissar, Yevgeny Borisov, has been in pre-trial detention since the summer of 2023. An indictment against him was filed in court this year.

"We understand that the ex-official, given his current condition, connections, and the fact that he has been in detention for an extended period, his lawyers are doing everything possible to reduce the bail amount, allowing him to potentially gain freedom and, as we noted earlier, attempt to evade investigation," said the SBI advisor.

The Borisov Case

It is worth noting that several criminal cases have been opened against Yevgeny Borisov. In the spring of 2023, the then-head of the Odessa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support was suspected of illegal enrichment. Elite real estate and vehicles were discovered belonging to him and his relatives.

After the case gained significant public attention, Borisov was dismissed. Later that summer, he was arrested in Kyiv and taken into custody.

Additionally, a case has been opened against Borisov for the legalization of illegal income amounting to 142 million hryvnias. More details can be found in RBK-Ukraine's report.

Furthermore, Borisov is accused of document forgery, claiming he sustained an injury during his service. This allowed him to travel abroad to vacation in the Seychelles and Spain. This case has already been submitted to court.

On the eve of his release from pre-trial detention, the former head of the Odessa Territorial Center was released, but he was re-arrested. The SBI noted that after his release from isolation, Borisov intended to leave the country.
