During the drone strikes on Sumy last night, February 25, Russian invaders targeted the residential area of the city. Emergency services clarified the aftermath and showcased footage from the scene of the enemy shelling.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the State Emergency Service (SES).
According to rescuers, residential buildings were damaged due to the enemy's UAV strikes.
"On February 25, the enemy attacked the residential sector of Sumy. The shockwave shattered 148 windows in three apartment buildings and other structures," the SES stated.
Additionally, the Service reported that rescuers have surveyed the area and provided assistance to the injured.
"According to preliminary information, two people were injured," the emergency services conveyed.
Earlier, it was reported that Russian invaders launched kamikaze drones again for airstrikes on Ukraine last night.
By morning, it became known that explosions were heard in Sumy, and a residential high-rise was damaged due to an enemy drone strike. City authorities reported that the "arrivals" of Shahed-type strike UAVs occurred near Lake Chekha. Two people were injured.
Moreover, in the morning, a headquarters for managing the aftermath of the emergency situation is being set up in Sumy.
