The first payment under the "National Cashback" program will be received by Ukrainians from October 22 to 31. Funds will be distributed to 646,378 citizens.
As reported on the government portal, these funds can be used to pay for various services, make donations to the Armed Forces, or purchase military bonds.
According to the government portal, the state will transfer a total of 37.2 million UAH to Ukrainians, accumulated from purchases made in September. The cashback can be spent on utilities, medical, and transportation services.
Only those who purchased Ukrainian goods worth more than 2 UAH in September will receive the payment. This group consists of 646,378 consumers. The others either did not have any accruals or the amount was below this threshold.
Importantly, the cashback is not subject to taxation. Payments will be made monthly, starting from the 20th of the following month. Thus, at the end of October, Ukrainians will receive cashback for September, and at the end of November – for October.
To receive the cashback, it is necessary to activate the payment card in the "Diia" app. Those who have done this will receive their funds in October. If the card is not activated, the funds will still be available and will be paid out in November.
A cashback of 10% is accrued for purchases of participating Ukrainian goods, with a maximum payout of up to 3,000 UAH per month. To obtain the cashback, one must submit an application through the website or mobile app of a participating bank or visit a bank branch.
