A resident of Kyiv photographed checkpoints near the parliament a day before the Russian attack on the government quarter on January 1. She has been declared a suspect.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine with a link to the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, in early November of last year, the woman received an offer via Telegram to photograph radar stations in the Kyiv region and send the photos to the client. She was promised a payment of 500 US dollars for the work, but only received payment for taxi services.
On December 31, 2024, she received a new assignment – to photograph a checkpoint in the government quarter near the parliament building. The woman sent the photos to the client the same day.
Following this, on the very next day, January 1, 2025, Russian drones attacked this area of the capital. As a result of the enemy attack, a family of scientists was killed.
The suspect is currently being held in custody as a preventive measure.
