According to rescuers, today, February 15, in the village of Korsuntsy, Odessa district, three boys—two aged 15 and one 14—fell through the ice on a local pond.
"They decided to test its strength, but it couldn't hold," explained the State Emergency Service.

"Rescuers retrieved the bodies from the water. Psychologists are working with the children's relatives," the State Emergency Service stated.
Rescuers in the Cherkasy region reported that the incident occurred today at a pond in the central park.
"Fortunately, a local resident noticed four children aged 9, 10, and 11 who had fallen through the ice and saved them," the State Emergency Service said.
According to emergency services, paramedics hospitalized the teenagers due to hypothermia.
"Dear parents, we urge you once again to monitor your children's leisure activities and continuously teach them the rules of safe behavior," the State Emergency Service emphasized.
Law enforcement officials reported that yesterday, February 14, in the evening, the Samara district police department in the Dnipropetrovsk region received a report that two teenagers had fallen through the ice near the city park on the river.
Witnesses stated that despite warnings from passersby, one of the boys went onto the ice, which turned out to be too thin. When the ice cracked and he fell into the water, his friend attempted to save him but also fell through.
"Fortunately, a concerned passerby noticed the danger and pulled the boys from the icy water," law enforcement explained.
The police clarified that an administrative protocol was drawn up against the parents under Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. The materials will be sent to court for a decision.
Recall that recently in the Kherson region five children fell through thin ice. Two of them were saved; the bodies of two others were found, and the search for a third continued.
Today, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Alexander Prokudin, announced that the search operation has concluded.
"A diving team from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region retrieved the bodies of three children who fell through the ice on February 13 in the territory of the Velyka Oleksandrivka community," he explained.
