A man has been arrested in the United Kingdom for setting fire to a business linked to Ukraine. He did this on the orders of a foreign intelligence agency.
This information comes from RBK-Ukraine citing Reuters.
According to the agency, 22-year-old British citizen Jake Reeves has confessed to the arson.
He stated that he was the one who set fire to a building in East London in March. For this act, he received financial gain from a "foreign intelligence service."
The British prosecution believes that the "foreign intelligence service" is connected to the Russian Federation. The police also reported that there are seven individuals involved in this case.
According to the investigation, they attacked a property "belonging to a Ukrainian" on behalf of mercenaries from the "Wagner" group.
Previously, RBK-Ukraine reported that in Ukraine, SBU neutralized a reconnaissance-combat group of the GRU that was carrying out terrorist acts and spying on Ukrainian military personnel.
