Defense forces are holding back the offensive near Pokrovsk, preventing any deterioration of positions, according to the Operational Command "Khortytsia."

The Russian army is attempting to leverage its numerical advantage and advance in the Pokrovsk direction. Defense forces are resisting the occupiers.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Operational Strategic Group "Khortytsia".

According to military sources, over the past day, the main attacking efforts of the enemy were concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction. Primarily without the use of armored vehicles, the enemy conducted offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Zelenoe Pole, Baranovka, Tarasovka, Yelizavetovka, Luch, Sukhoy Yar, Zelenoe, Kotlinoye, Udachnoye, Uspenovka, Novoaleksandrovka, Nadeevka, Yasenovo, Slavyanka, Petropavlovka, Dachnoye, Kurakhovo, and Yantarnoye.

Fighting continues in Lisovka, Novovasilyevka, and Shevchenko. Defense forces are countering the enemy's attempts to exploit its numerical superiority and advance. Measures are being taken to prevent the tactical situation from worsening.

Situation on Other Fronts

The enemy's assault groups attacked our positions in Volchansk - in the Kharkiv direction, and in the areas of Zagryzovo, Zeleny Hay, and Dvurechny - in the Kupiansk direction. The attacks were repelled, and the enemy suffered losses and retreated.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy stormed our fortifications in the areas of Kopanok, Novosergiivka, Ternov, and Makeyevka. They did not achieve success.

In the Sever direction, enemy assault groups unsuccessfully attempted to attack the defense forces' positions in Belogorivka. To move personnel for offensive actions, the enemy used motorcycles. The enemy was destroyed as they approached the deployment line.

In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, clashes occurred in Chasovoy Yar, in the area of Stupochki, Dilyivka, and Toretsk. Some of our positions were destroyed as a result of assault actions and fire impact. Efforts continue to localize and eliminate remnants of the enemy's assault groups.

In the Novopavlivka direction, our troops are resisting enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Ulakly, Novy Komar, Neskuchne, and Vremovka. The enemy continues to accumulate forces for further attacks.

Situation in the Pokrovsk Direction

The Russian army continues to concentrate forces for attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. In this area, the occupiers have amassed a large number of their soldiers.

As stated by Viktor Trehubov, a representative of the Operational Strategic Group "Khortytsia", the enemy wants to encircle the city, but is not succeeding.

At the same time, the American Institute for the Study of War noted that the encirclement of Pokrovsk is one of the key strategic goals of the Russian occupiers.
