Drone Attacks on Russia

Throughout 2024, the border regions of Russia adjacent to Ukraine have been constantly attacked by unidentified kamikaze drones. The drones most often target military facilities, weapon depots, oil bases, and oil refineries.

On the morning of December 15, the capital of Chechnya, the city of Grozny, was attacked by strike kamikaze drones. The drones struck the buildings of the Chechen special forces and OMON.

Subsequently, it was revealed that Grozny was attacked by drones from the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR. The UAVs were created based on the Ukrainian-manufactured sports aircraft "AEROPRAKT A-22."

On the night of December 14, explosions were heard in the Russian city of Oryol. Drones attacked an oil depot, causing a fire on its premises.
